Rumbo Malabo takes Equatorial Guinea to FITUR 2023
FITUR (the International Tourism Fair) is the first annual event for global tourism professionals and one of the most outstanding and recognized tourism events worldwide. It will take place from January 18 to 22, 2023.
FITUR welcomes more than 255,000 visitors and 11,040 companies from over 170 countries and regions. Therefore, it’s a global appeal for brands and countries. In addition, it’s widely covered with more than 7,625 journalists from 61 countries and an audience of over 105 million users on Twitter.
For all the above, from Rumbo Malabo we consider this opportunity as unbeatable to let know Equatorial Guinea as a destination from our vision of sustainable tourism.
Why is Rumbo Malabo going to FITUR 2023?
From Rumbo Malabo, we want to position ourselves as receptors for sustainable tourism in Equatorial Guinea. That is why we believe that our presence is only the next logical step in our mission: to show Equatorial Guinea and its beauties to an audience that appreciates it.
By attending this event, we intend to give visibility to the nature, culture, fauna and flora of our precious country, while establishing relationships with potential clients interested in tourism in Equatorial Guinea.
Sustainable tourism is a driver of change and a unique opportunity to diversify our country’s economy. In addition, it has the advantage of having a great reach and impact, so it would reach all regions and social groups, from the bar salesman, to the businessman, to the local artisans.
What will Rumbo Malabo do at FITUR 2023?
We’re not fooling ourselves, we’re not going on vacation. FITUR lasts five days of high intensity in the great business forum of the world tourism industry. So if we’re there, it’s to take advantage of it all. The first three days, from January 18 to 20, focus on the professional public, while Jan 21 and 22 are for the general public.
Five days that translate into hundreds of opportunities to make contacts, initiate projects and close agreements. We have to keep in mind that there will be executives with high decision-making power in any tourism segment: 38% presidents/CEOs, 34% marketing/sales/commercial directors and 21% sales/consultant executives.
Of course, we will also be there for you, so if you want to stop by our stand, you are more than welcome!
Where can we find Rumbo Malabo in FITUR 2023?
FITUR 2023 will be held at the fairgrounds of IFEMA in Madrid (Spain). If you are familiar with the venue, Rumbo Malabo will be in Hall 6 (Africa and Asia) at stand 6G01. And if not, don’t worry, we’ll leave you a map right below.
Who are we going to FITUR 2023 with?
Firstly, we want to make it clear that we are not going to FITUR alone. We have always said that we are all Rumbo Malabo and that is why we will be accompanied by all of you, all those who want to promote the country and its great virtues. So stay tuned because we will have you participate in our activities and contribute to promoting the wonders of Equatorial Guinea.

When is FITUR 2023 and how much does it cost?
FITUR 2023 will be held from 18 to 22 January 2023 in Madrid. Ticket prices depend on the day and the target audience. We leave you below a table that will make everything clearer

Why is Rumbo Malabo going to FITUR now?
This may be the million-dollar question. Why now? Pandemic times, world conflicts and a global crisis affecting all economies, as well as tourism.
For us, the answer is very simple. We see hard times as an opportunity to diversify the country’s economy. And what better time than when all countries start from the same point? Also, we firmly believe in sustainable tourism; we think it’s the future and we are therefore ready to work.
This may not be the best time, but is it ever? We are determined, we are brave and we want to do this. We need nothing else.

It’s overwhelming how many people write to us through comments and private messages to show their support. And many of you have the same question. How can I help? Here are the answers:
