Introduction
Pico Basilé is the highest mountain in Equatorial Guinea. Located on the island of Bioko, very close to the city of Malabo. At an altitude of 3,011 m (9,878 ft), it is the summit of the largest and tallest of the three overlapping basaltic shield volcanoes that make up the island. From the summit, there is a beautiful view of Mount Cameroon to the northeast if the weather conditions are right, you can visit the Church of Bisila which is 2,800 meters above sea level and take a walk around it.
