DAY 1: Departure from Bata and Exploration of Monte Alen National Park
- Departure from Bata:
We will depart early from the city of Bata in private transportation heading south to Monte Alen, approximately 120 minutes away. Along the way, we’ll make a brief stop to stock up on water, snacks, and supplies needed for our adventure. - Arrival at Monte Alen National Park:
Upon arrival, we’ll venture into the dense tropical rainforest, accompanied by an expert local guide. We’ll begin a hike along trails that will lead us to discover the park’s rich biodiversity, home to forest elephants, chimpanzees, exotic birds, and lush vegetation. - Waterfalls and Lunch:
We’ll visit one of the park’s stunning valleys, where we’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in a spectacular natural setting. - Lake Atoc and Camping:
The journey continues to Lake Atoc, a peaceful spot perfect for contemplation and photography. At sunset, we’ll set up camp in a designated safe area and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner. The night under the stars, surrounded by the sounds of the jungle, will be unforgettable.
DAY 2: Wildlife Spotting and Return to Bata
Jungle Sunrise:
We’ll wake up early to take advantage of the first hours of the day when the animals are most active. A morning hike will give us the chance to spot elephants, antelopes, and primates while learning about the park’s flora and fauna.
Final Exploration:
We’ll visit another of the park’s waterfalls or scenic viewpoints, soaking in the unique landscapes and capturing the last images of this adventure.
Return to Bata:
After a light lunch, we’ll begin our hike back to the park’s entrance. We’ll arrive in Bata in the late afternoon, wrapping up an unforgettable experience.
